What next?

This workshop will help you reflect upon the options you have on the German non-academic labour market; and it will allow you to see more of these options.

We will first focus on the competencies you have gained up until now. We then discuss a number of useful job search strategies which will help you search and better understand relevant parts of the non-academic labour market in Germany and will thus allow you to develop more ideas for job profiles that fit you.

A particular focus of the workshop will be on the challenges which international students face when they are looking for a job in Germany.

• Dr. Matthias Zach counsels researchers and scientists on all relevant aspects of their careers. Based on his education in Oxford, Paris and Tübingen as well as work experience in Britain, France and Germany, he has a particular focus on international careers.
